DFA: Malaysia defers execution of Filipino on death row
The Malaysian government has postponed the execution of a Filipino convicted of murder, the Department of Foreign Affair (DFA) said Saturday.
According to the DFA, ensuing a last minute appeal from the Philippine Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, Sabah delayed the execution of Ejah Bin Jaafar who was supposed to be executed on Friday.

Vice President Leni Robredo convinced the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte to review their strategy against illegal drugs on Thursday.
According to Robredo, instead of reverting the Philippine Constabulary (PC) for the illegal drugs campaign, the administration must review the recent strategy.

Patricia Bautista under provisional coverage of WPP

The Department of Justice (DOJ) gave security and protection to Patricia Paz Bautista, estranged wife of Commission on Election (Comelec) Chairman Andres Bautista on Friday.
In a press conference, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre 2nd, stated to the media that they have accepted Bautista under provisional coverage of the Witness Protection Program (WPP).
